San Diego Comic Con International:
Toycom
The first wave of King of the Hill figures are shown below: Peggy, Hank, Dale, and Bill. Unpainted Series Two prototypes were on display (but not allowed to be photographed) and included Boomhauer, LuAnn, and Bobby with LadyBird. Each figure will come with a portion of the fence (from the alley scene in the opening credits of the television show). Collect all seven figures, and you can complete the fence, which also has the logo for the show on it. The four figures shown were sculpted, painted, and approved in four weeks. (Impressive enough without the approval, but toss that in, and that may be a new speed record.)
Future plans for the King of the Hill product line include sound chips in the figures and playsets. (The sounds will play without the playsets.)
