Dragon's Lair 3D

These Dragon's Lair 3D action figures from Anjon, Inc. are sculpted by Sculpt This, who are sculptors who once worked with ReSaurus. Sculpt This may be a familiar name to you from their work on the recent series of Buffy and Angel action figures from Moore Action.

Series One figures:

• Dirk the Daring: 6 inches tall, 12 points of articulation. Comes with a sword, blue key, green key, and magic health bottle. (The sword has a sheath, and the keys and bottle fit into his backpack.) Dirk also comes with an Eyeball Tentacle Creature with bendy tentacles.
• Princess Daphne: 5 inches tall, 6 points of articulation. Comes with a golden treasure base and the magic medallion. (The medallion fits into Dirk's backpack.) Daphne also comes with Fire Drake, who has three points of articulation.
• Mordroc: 5 inches tall, 10 points of articulation. Some of the articulation is underneath his robes, so he's not just a big hunk of plastic. Mordroc comes with his magic staff and two Ding Bats.
• Singe the Dragon: 16 inches long, 8 points of articulation. He has two inner armatures which allow movement: one in his tail and one in his neck. Singe comes with the golden key around his neck, and a jewel treasure base with a removable sword (which fits Dirk's sheath). Singe is a deluxe action figure.

Series One was on display at Toy Fair 2002, as both figures and two-up sculpts, and Series Two concept art was also on display. Series Two will include: the Giddy Goons, the Thorn Lord, Dragon's Essence Dirk, and the Lizard King.
