Gyro-Riders Spin into the spotlight

Malibu, CA � February 10, 2002 - JAKKS Pacific's Road Champs division introduces their newest line of action sports toys, Gyro-Riders, at the International Toy Fair. Gyro-Riders feature action sports figures attached to their gear, and with the pull of a ripcord, figures spin into action and perform awesome spinning moves.

An adjustable gyro in each figure and vehicle makes the action possible. The gyro stabilizes the Gyro-Rider, and maintains its speed. Reposition the gyro for a variety of different tricks.

The introduction of Gyro-Riders will include two assortments � one of fiction figures with a skateboard, mountain board, inline skate, snow board, scooter or BMX bike, and the second with figures and powered vehicles, including an ATV, street bike and dirt bike. By emulating the most exciting and adventurous moves of extreme sports, Gyro-Riders contain lots of action at breakneck speeds. Once you start `em, you can't stop `em!

Road Champs isn't considered the leader in extreme sports toys for nothing - authentic decoration on the boards and clothing of the figures enhances the look of Gyro-Riders, making them as authentic as they are fun.
