CyberK'NEX Line Extension to Debut Three New Entomological Additions to its Popular Cyber Building Sets

New York, NY - February 7, 2002 - RED ALERT! A mutant swarm of Cyber insects have descended upon New York City with Cyber Swarm, K'NEX Industries' latest addition to its popular CyberK'NEX building sets.

With K'NEX's new CyberSwarm building sets, kids can construct one of three military hero insects, then bring them buzzing to life by inserting specially-programmed CyberKeys. Each of these entomological warriors--Colonel Buzz, Spy Bug, and Back-Pack--is programmed to "give his buzz" by explaining his identity and mission, then execute a quick drill as ordered by his kid commander-in-chief.

Kids control their warrior bugs' movements in three different ways. First, the bug recruits respond to sound, such as a hand clap. They also react to impact, tapping or striking objects. Finally, they follow electronic orders from an ordinary household remote--kids need only press a button to order the enlisted insects to move forward, backward, or in a new direction.

The Cyber Swarm insects are also "armed to the mandible" with a stinging foam missile feature. Kids can arm their warrior bug's foam missiles, take charge with their household remote, then press any button to blast away their enemies!
