Disney's magical stories of beautiful and kind-hearted princesses like Ariel, Belle and Cinderella continues to capture kids' hearts and imaginations. Building on this theme is Hasbro's 2003 line of DISNEY PRINCESS miniature-sized play sets, dolls and fashion accessories, allowing kids to recreate their own princess fantasies and favorite movie scenes. Hasbro's Disney PRINCESS mini-doll line was a hit with girls last year, and these sparkling new PRINCESS mini toys are sure to delight young Disney fans. All items are recommended for ages four and up.
DISNEY PRINCESS CASTLE ASSORTMENT (Approximate retail price: $29.99) While Ariel loves her undersea palace home and her adorable, loyal friends, she also longs to be part of that "other world" above water, where the handsome Prince Eric lives in his castle. THE LITTLE MERMAID UNDER THE SEA PALACE is a deluxe play set that lets girls use real water to play out Ariel's adventures both in Eric's castle and in her father's palace under the sea. Including mini-dolls of Disney's ARIEL, ERIC, FLOUNDER and MAX, the sparkling underwater grotto is packed with treasure accessories and places to frolic. PRETTY AS A PRINCESS FASHIONS (Approximate retail price: $14.99) Every princess must have a wardrobe of beautiful royal clothes! Girls can dress up their favorite Hasbro Disney's PRINCESS mini-dolls with this new fashion collection, that includes a four-inch doll, 20 fashions and accessories, a story booklet and a vinyl purse to store the princess' finery. The CINDERELLA set has five dresses, including her dazzling ball gown and wedding outfit with lots of accessories, which can be stored in the heart-shaped purse. The BEAUTY AND THE BEAST set has four dresses, including Belle's famous yellow ball gown and her blue country dress, two capes and all sorts of accessories with a flower-shaped carry purse. THE LITTLE MERMAID set includes five dressed, including her wedding gown and purple "shiny" dress, mermaid fin and accessories with a shell-shaped purse. The fashions are all made of a flexible material that makes dressing the PRINCESSES fun and easy. All Disney PRETTY AS A PRINCESS FASHIONS sets are available in September.
DISNEY PRINCESS PLAY SETS (Approximate retail price: $9.99) It is a touching, suspenseful moment, waiting to see if Prince Eric will kiss the blushing, beautiful mermaid-turned-girl, Ariel, while they float in the rowboat to the encouraging tune of the friendly aquatic creatures. Hasbro's Disney KISS THE GIRL PLAY SET features a rowboat that slides across the lagoon, a swing, three animals and four-inch figures of Ariel and Eric. This new play set is available in January. Also continuing from last year are the popular play sets CINDERELLA'S BEAUTIFUL WEDDING and BELLE'S WINTER WONDERLAND.
DISNEY PRINCESS FIGURE PACK ASSORTMENT (Approximate retail price: $4.99) Each figure pack of four-inch mini-dolls features a princess and four other characters dressed in a beautiful costume to help complete the fantasy play of favorite movie scenes. New this year is THE LITTLE MERMAID FIGURE PACK, available in January. Also continuing from last year are the CINDERELLA and the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST figure packs.
