Hasbro: Electronic Games - Milton Bradley
2003 MILTON BRADLEY ELECTRONICS
GROOVE THING™ Game (Ages: 8 and up; Approximate Retail: $24.99; Available: Fall 2003; Players: 1 or more)
The GROOVE THING game, Milton Bradley's newest electronic handheld game, is sure to get players in the "move." Players don't have to come in physical contact with the game sensors to play, as the game unit can sense the motion of the player's hand. GROOVE THING combines music, games and physical activity in a hand-held electronic game where players respond to random voice & light commands. The object of the game is to complete the "groove moves" - slide, scratch, and zoom - that the game gives you in time with the music.
There are up to 8 new moves that unlock the longer you play. Players can choose from up to two games and two different music styles. At the end of a play session, the game will rank you (are you a "groove wannabe" or a "groove grand master") and will tell you your score. The maximum score is 300 points.
SIMON Electronic Hand-Held (Ages: 7 & up; Players: 1 or more; Approximate Retail Price: $12.99; Available: January 2003)
The HAND-HELD ELECTRONIC SIMON game has a new look, but retains the same sounds and lights that everyone knows and loves. With its bright yellow casing and sleek, oval shape, similar to its parent, SIMON2, HAND-HELD ELECTRONIC SIMON is a stylish addition to any car trip, beach outing or even schoolyard. Its compact size fits great in backpacks, purses and pockets and offers a fun and fresh experience every time it's played. Game play remains the same as the classic SIMON game where players mimic the computer's lighted pattern to win. The game features four skill levels and three ways to play.
