FINDING NEMO WILL HAVE DISNEY FANS GOING HOOK, LINE AND SINKER FOR HASBRO'S TOY LINE

When Walt Disney Pictures presents the underwater adventure FINDING NEMO, a Pixar Animation Studios Film, on May 30, 2003, Hasbro will celebrate the magical new fish tale with a full line of FINDING NEMO plush, play sets, figures, games, puzzles, bath toys and candy novelties. The Hasbro items will swim into stores just in time for the theatrical release to help recreate the fantastic scenes of FINDING NEMO.

FINDING NEMO follows the comedic and eventful journeys of two fish -- MARLIN and his son NEMO -- who become separated in the Great Barrier Reef when NEMO is unexpectedly taken far from home and thrust into a fish tank in a dentist's office overlooking Sydney Harbor. Buoyed by the companionship of a friendly-but-forgetful fish named DORY, the overly cautious father embarks on a dangerous trek and finds himself the unlikely hero of an epic journey to rescue his son -- who hatches a few daring plans of his own to return safely home.

Hasbro's FINDING NEMO line is sure to be a "splash" hit. Following are highlights of the line, which is recommended for ages 3 and up:

PLUSH

NITE BRITE NEMO (Approximate retail price: $29.99) This 16-inch plush Disney/Pixar's NEMO is not only a cute, cuddly and adorable fish that helps kids feel safe at night, but he does so with incredible voice recognition interactive play. "Hi, I'm NEMO," he responds when kids first squeeze his lucky fin, NEMO will also respond to kids when they speak three phrases: Say to NEMO ... "row, row, row your boat," and NEMO giggles and hums a little song; Say to NEMO "I love you Nemo", and he reacts with a variety of phrases like "I love you too", or "I'm a fish out of water without you!"; even more heart-warming, tell NEMO "nite nite," and NEMO's eyes light up, he yawns and begins to snore himself to sleep as he responds, "Nite nite, sleep tight, don't let the sharks bite," while his eyes slowly fade. JUMBO PLUSH (Approximate retail price: $29.99) Kids can really get their arms around Disney/Pixar's NEMO and SQUIRT, cuddly 22-inch plush characters who capture kids' hearts in the film. Recommended for ages 2 & up.

FEATURE PLUSH (Approximate retail price: $19.99) Three of the movie's most colorful characters are available in the feature plush assortment, each with speech and special features that play up their endearing personalities. HIGH FIVE NEMO can talk and flutter his lucky fin. Pick him up and give him a fish high-five, and he responds with joy by saying "You found me!" SURFER TALKIN' SQUIRT, one of the cutest characters from the movie, speaks in cool surfer talk. Give Disney/Pixar's SQUIRT a hug and he'll say a variety of phrases such as "let's ride the current" and "I love you, jellyman." BITIN' BRUCE is a plush shark that "clamps" onto your arm. Each character comes with its own movie scene environment which doubles as a storage holder for the plush toy. Disney/Pixar's NEMO will be right at home in his anemone home, Disney/Pixar's SQUIRT the baby turtle will feel safe at home inside his shell and DORY can hide away inside the diver's mask she finds in the movie. Recommended for ages 4 & up.

FIGURES/PLAY SETS

AQUARIUM ADVENTURE PLAY SET (Approximate retail price: $9.99) GIL, the leader of the tank gang, and Disney/Pixar's NEMO, frolic in front of the aquarium on the volcano where the Tiki god's mouth becomes a fun tunnel for sliding! Take the gang for a swim by attaching them to the palm tree that spins to simulate swimming action. See NEMO's lucky fin flutter when he rolls along the play set. Even more adventure awaits the crew on the backside of the playset where characters explore underwater "treasures" and hiding places and even take a nap. Recommended for ages 4 & up.

BOAT ESCAPE PLAYSET (Approximate retail price: $9.99) Help Disney/Pixar's NEMO escape the tuna boat or aid in his escape back to the bottom of the ocean! There are a variety of environments from this movie scene in which Disney/Pixar's NEMO and PEARL can splash and play. Use the crane to pick NEMO up and drop him back into the boat. Lucky for him, NEMO finds a hole in the boat and slides to safety into the friendly ocean. Help PEARL swim along with her spinning tentacles or take the characters on an adventure through the caves. When the adventure tires the friends, they can take a rest in the many secret spots like the coral and anemone cradles. Recommended for ages 4 & up.

DISNEY/PIXAR'S NEMO AND FRIENDS GIFT PACKS The gang's all here in the FINDING NEMO figure packs, the AQUARIUM GANG and the OCEAN GANG, each including nine fun figures and accessories to recreate the underwater tale. Recommended for ages 4 & up.

GAMES

DISNEY/PIXAR FINDING NEMO GAME (Approximate Retail: $9.99) The Disney/Pixar FINDING NEMO Game engages children ages five and older as they enter the fantasy of Disney/Pixar's FINDING NEMO movie and take on the role of NEMO. NEMO'S father's attempt to save him from the scuba-diving dentist failed and now NEMO needs to free himself. Players roll the dice, place tiles and move their NEMO pawns along the game board paths, as they try and escape from the dentist office aquarium and return home to the Great Barrier Reef. The first player to arrive home wins. It is available in May and is recommended for ages five and up. Players: two to four.

MEMORY: DISNEY/PIXAR FINDING NEMO EDITION (Approximate retail price: $6.99) Preschoolers ages three to six will enjoy finding and matching their favorite characters from Disney/Pixar's FINDING NEMO movie in the MEMORY Game: Disney/Pixar FINDING NEMO Edition. Game play is the same as the Original MEMORY game where players turn over two cards at a time in hopes of making a match. If a match is made, the player keeps the cards; if a match is not made, the player must show the other players the cards and turn the cards face down. After all the cards have been matched, the player with the most sets of matching cards wins. It is available in May and is recommended for ages three to six. Players: one or more.

SQUIRTIN' SURPRISE (Approximate retail price: $9.99) The SQUIRTIN' SURPRISE bath toy set lets kids take the action into the bathtub for the ultimate FINDING NEMO water play.
