ToyBiz - Marvel Legends 11
Wave 11 is entitled "Legendary Riders". In this set of 8 figures, each figure comes with a mode of transportation, from motorcycles to hovercars.
A comic book or poster book will be also be included with each figure. The variants of this set have not been formally announced by ToyBiz at this time.
This wave is expected to begin shipping in the fall of 2005.
Figures from Wave 11 are listed below. The exact number of Points of Articulation have not been finalized at this time.
Civilian Wolverine Hulkbuster Iron Man Original Thing Scarlet Witch Taskmaster Ultron Vengeance Wonderman (with Yellow Jacket)
Some points of interest:
- Civilian Wolverine has an aged appearance as he does in the classic storyline, "Days of Futures Past."
- The Scarlet Witch, like Mystique, will share a new basic body sculpt. Her face will also be slightly tweaked to perfection.
- Wonderman will also sport a new facial sculpt.
- The catalog shot of Ultron is not the version that will be released. The photos seen below resembling a typical Ultron head is what will be used.
- Why Vengeance? Seems the popularity of the Ghost Rider figure amoung kids has inspired this character. He ranked in 3rd place after Spider-Man and the Hulk, and he doesn't even have a cartoon or a movie out yet.
- Taskmaster will not come with a quiver, bow, or arrows. There will be a gun. The hand is designed to hold the sword and gun, but could not hold the bow and arrow too.
