MICROSOFT AND MCFARLANE TOYS ANNOUNCE FEBRUARY 2008 RELEASE OF 'HALO 3' SERIES 1 ACTION FIGURES
February 2008 - TEMPE, Ariz. - Two powerhouses of pop culture, McFarlane Toys and Microsoft Game Studios have collaborated to produce action figures based on the hit video game series Halo®. Halo 3 Series 1 action figures are scheduled to arrive in stores late February 2008.
Series 1 action figure lineup:
- Master Chief
- Brute Chieftain
- Cortana
- Jackal Sniper
- Grunt
- Spartan Soldier
Series 1 figures range in height from 3.5 inches to 6 inches and come equipped with its signature weapon and up to 18 points of articulation.
Series 1 Mini Vehicles:
- Warthog
- Ghost
- Brute Chopper
All vehicles are made of plastic and die-cast metal and feature moveable wheels and gun turrets where applicable.
Action figures and vehicles will be available at the following mass-retailers: Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, GameStop, Spencer Gifts, FYE/SunCoast and online at SPAWN.com and BungieStore.com. Retail prices range from $9.99 - $14.99.
Series 2 action figures will hit store shelves July 2008 and will include: Master Chief, Brute Stalker, ODST, Drone, Arbiter, and Spartan Soldier
Series 2 Mini Vehicles: Scarab, Wraith, Mongoose
Series 3 action figures will be on store shelves in September 2008 and will include: Master Chief, Elite Combat, Brute Chieftain Weapon Class, Jackal Mortar, Human Flood, Spartan Soldier Haybusa (Red), Spartan Soldier Rogue (Olive), and Spartan Soldier Recon (Teal)
Series 3 Mini Vehicles: Scarab, Wraith, Mongoose
