INKWORKS ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF SMALLVILLE: SEASON SIX PREMIUM TRADING CARDS

MORRISVILLE, NC - February 2008 - Inkworks, the award-winning entertainment trading card manufacturer, announces the release of Smallville: Season Six premium trading cards. Developed through a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics, the Smallville: Season Six release features a comprehensive set based on Clark Kent as he becomes more comfortable with his strength and superhero abilities. The 90-card base set includes episodic coverage and new subsets like "Around the Planet", "Faces of Justice", and much more.

Smallville, Warner Bros. Television's hit series for The CW Network, weaves a blend of realism and adventure into this live-action TV program based on the Superman mythology. This interpretation of the Superman legend follows a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and his friends as he learns to master his secret powers and figure out his destiny. Smallville stars Tom Welling as the young Clark Kent, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Aaron Ashmore and John Glover. From Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television, Smallville airs Thursdays at 8:00 PM (7:00 Central) on The CW. The series was developed for television by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and the executive producers are Gough and Millar, Ken Horton, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer, James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
