TOY INDUSTRY GIANTS TO CONDUCT 'HOW TO SCULPT' SESSIONS AT WIZARD WORLD PHILLY!

Congers, NY (May 12, 2008) - The Wizard World Philadelphia comic convention continues to offer the best in toy programming by giving aspiring creators and fans numerous opportunities to learn the tricks of the trade from highly successful industry veterans. Throughout the weekend, the Shiflett Brothers, Randy Falk and NECA, Clayburn Moore, Robert Tonner and the Four Horseman will be conducting How To Sculpt sessions in the hallowed Wizard School Room and in the Twisted ToyFare Theatre.

  • THE SHIFLETT BROTHERS
    (Friday, May 30, 1-2 p.m.)
    Go inside the studio with master sculpting team the Shiflett Brothers, the minds behind Shiflett Brothers Originals. Learn tips, tricks and techniques for statue sculpting, and be sure to take notes!

  • NECA & RANDY FALK
    (Saturday, May 31, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
    Learn the ins and outs of action figure sculpting from Randy Falk and NECA sculptors, the minds behind such toy lines as Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter and 300!

  • CLAYBURN MOORE
    (Saturday, May 31, 2-3 p.m.)
    C.S. Moore Studio President and Master Sculptor Clayburn Moore is known in the collectible statue field for his ability to present the human figure in a way that brings life and realism to the sculpture. Join Clayburn as he shares sculpting techniques and gives insight into his unique approach during this discussion that collectors and sculptors alike will enjoy. Q&A session will follow discussion.

  • ROBERT TONNER
    (Saturday, May 31, 3:30-4:30 p.m.)
    Join world-renowned sculptor Robert Tonner, CEO of Tonner Inc., for his first-ever "Sculpting from Clay to the Finished Product" panel. Learn how the process works from beginning to end, get sculpting tips and tricks, and learn about the artistry he puts into each Tonner Character Figure. Participate in a Q&A with the sculptor himself and, of course, there will be giveaways at the end!

  • THE FOUR HORSEMEN
    (Sunday, June 1, 3-4 p.m.)
