The Final Wizard World Convention Of 2008 Is Packed With All-Star Talent!
Congers, NY (August 28, 2008) - An impressive assortment of comics most luminous talent will be descending upon the Lone Star State to meet and greet their fans during this year's Wizard World Texas. Big name creators from the biggest comic companies will be on hand all weekend, taking part in numerous panels and signings.
Wizard World Texas Guest of Honor John Cassaday (The Lone Ranger, Astonishing X-Men) will be making his first Wizard World appearance in over a year. Cassaday, who is himself a native Texan, will be involved in a variety of programming all weekend long.
Among the writers in attendance will be Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets, "Batman: Gotham Knight"), Christos Gage (Absolution, Avengers: The Initiative), Marc Guggenheim (Amazing Spider-Man, Super-Zombies), Phil Hester (Firebreather, Broken Trinity: The Darkness) and Max Brooks (World War Z).
Equally impressive is the list of artists in attendance, which includes Lee Bermejo (Hellblazer, upcoming The Joker), Mitch Breitweiser (Captain America: The Chosen), Jacen Burrows (Crossed), Frank Cho (Jungle Girl, Mighty Avengers), Shane Davis (Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns), Paul Duffield (FreakAngels), Marko Djurdjevic (Mighty Avengers) and Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night, Welcome to Hoxford).
