PET ROCKS® Unearthed Across the Globe!

I-STAR ENTERTAINMENT TO RE-INTRODUCE THEM ON APRIL 18/19, 2009 WITH SCAVENGER HUNTS IN NY, CHICAGO, LA, PHILLY, BOSTON & WASHINGTON, DC

PET ROCKS® To Be Sold At Toys"R"Us Stores Nationally

NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2009 -- One of the most endearing fads of the 70's - the PET ROCKS® -- will be re-introduced to the world by I-STAR ENTERTAINMENT, LLC on April 18/19, 2009, opening weekend of "Earth Week," at PET ROCKS® Scavenger Hunts in nine (9) locations in six (6) major markets - New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, DC! The inaugural 12 PET ROCKS® characters will be available at Toys"R"Us stores nationally.

Two additional 'new age' PET ROCKS® characters - one 'endangered' and one 'extinct' specie -- will be introduced in limited quantities - thus increasing their value and appeal to collectors since they will not be released again in the near future.

Although absent from hobby and toy shops since the 70's, I-STAR's trend predictors - experienced in unearthing and rediscovering popular fads and toys from the past - recently found evidence that the once popular and coveted PET ROCKS® had not disappeared from the face of the earth, as initially thought, but had somehow survived under the earth's surface.

According to veteran toy industry executive Marty Abrams, CEO of I-STAR ENTERTAINMENT, "We believe that natural disasters - earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions, etc. - created geological changes that disturbed these dormant creatures, forcing them to surface above ground. When our field investigators reported back that the PET ROCKS® were real, we decided to re-introduce them to the world again! Since we have greater access to millions more people across the globe through mass communications that didn't exist in the 1970's, we predict the PET ROCKS® will become an instant fad and a big hit with those active in the collectibles market."

I-STAR will release the initial 12 PET ROCKS® at Toys"R"Us nationally starting in March of this year. The new PET ROCKS® are being introduced in a dozen different character shapes, forms and colors, each with its own name and personality: Avalanche, Boulder, Chip, Fracture, Granite, Hard Luck, Mica, Pebbles, Rocky, Roller, Stink and Stoner.

In the fall of 2009, 24 new PET ROCKS® will be released, bringing the total number of PET ROCKS® on the market to 36, exclusive of any limited edition 'endangered' and 'extinct' PET ROCKS® that will be placed in circulation intermittently.)

I-STAR ENTERTAINMENT is collaborating with Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF) on PET ROCKS.® CAAF will benefit from PET ROCKS® sales and will participate in the Earth Day Weekend Scavenger Hunts. CAAF will also promote the PET ROCKS® and Scavenger Hunts in its internal publications and marketing efforts, as well as provide celebrity supporters to help the launch.

I-STAR ENTERTAINMENT will support the PET ROCKS® launch with a comprehensive public relations, advertising and marketing campaign that includes e-mail blasts, newspaper and magazine advertising, Face book and You Tube pages featuring videos, an interactive website, Fan Club and a massive cell phone initiative.

THE PET ROCKS® ARE BACK!

MORE LOVABLE THAN EVER!

LOOK FOR THEM AT TOYS"R"US IN MARCH 2009!
