From January 8th-29th He-Man Enthusiasts Become Masters Of The Art Universe With 100 Artists Paying Tribute To Their Beloved Toy Brand

By the power of Grayskull... you have the power! This Friday through January 29th Gallery 1988 and Mattel present "Under The Influence: He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe" an innovative art gallery inspired by the popular '80s brand. As part of the showcase and art sale 100 top emerging contemporary artists will come together to share their He-Man® masterpieces with the public.

Come see your favorite He-Man characters come to life with vibrant renditions of the fearless hero and entourage as they battle the canvas from the evil likes of Skeletor. To enhance the experience Gallery 1988 will be transformed into the coveted Castle Grayskull™ where patrons will become immersed in the artistic universe protected by He-Man, Orko and She-Ra.

Fifteen percent of the gallery's profits will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Los Angeles. We will also celebrate one young man's wish to develop his own super hero comic character. During Friday's opening reception the special wish child will be in attendance to see the unveiling of the cover page for his own comic book, compliments of Mattel Design.
