Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 17 -- Global video games publisher ARUSH Entertainment today announced Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project (DNMP) for the PC is shipping to North American retailers and will be on the shelves early next week at a MSRP of $24.99.

DNMP is a PC platformer that hearkens back to the classic days of gaming, but with the visuals and polish of today's games, and is set in a fully 3D environment. Starring one of the most recognizable video game characters in history, Duke Nukem, DNMP is edgy, fast action at its best. The game doesn't pull any punches, and stays true to Duke Nukem's trademarked attitude throughout eight huge NY themed areas as he rescues babes and blows away mutants.

"Duke is immensely appealing -- he's a shoot first, ask-questions-never kind of guy," said ARUSH Entertainment president and CEO Jim Perkins. "He's a confident American hero, and babes fall at his feet wherever he goes. He's the coolest guy I've ever had the pleasure of working with."

DNMP was developed by Sunstorm Interactive, which has created add-on packs in the past for Duke Nukem 3D. 3D Realms, the creators of the Duke Nukem franchise, produced the game.

The Official DNMP Web site, http://www.DukeNukemMP.com, has screenshots, a 20 MB movie that shows gameplay and Duke spouting off his famous one-liners, wallpapers and other Duke goodies.
