In anticipation of their upcoming showing at Toy Fair, McFarlane Toys has issued the following press release:1999 was McFarlane Toys' mostsuccessful year ever, featuring The Beatles' Yellow Submarine, KISS, OzzyOsbourne, Austin Powers, Sleepy Hollow, Metal Gear Solid and, of course,Spawn. In 2000, McFarlane Toys will release more than 100 figures from thewell-known to the obscure, including rock stars, sports figures, movie icons,children's classics, television animation, Japanese animation and more. McFarlane Toys, which won dozens of awards from industry trades in 1999,including best toys, best paint, best articulation, best likeness, sexiestfemale, best sculpting and best company beating out powerhouse names like StarWars and Mattel. The company will be showcasing several lines for 2000 at theAmerican International Toy Fair in New York City, Feb. 13-17.
