Thank goodness someone is finally trying to address the issue of the threat mutants pose to society. Senator Robert Kelly has launched Mutantwatch.com, a website designed to educate the public to the growing mutant menace.

Senator Kelly states on the site:

"The threat that these individuals pose to our way of life cannot be underestimated. It touches every facet of our daily lives. And unless we take a stand now, our children will face an uncertain future where the rules of the game are dictated by genetic aberrations. A world where no place is safe: not your home, not your bank, not even the sanctity of your own mind."

Of course, this isn't "real" - but rather it is an extremely clever and well-exectuted tie-in to the upcoming X-Men movie coming this July from 20th Century Fox.

Nothing on the site mentions the movie, the studio or the comic books. Everything is done as if it were a real website, by the real Senator Kelly, in a real X-Men universe.

Of course, there is also an official X-Men the Movie website recently launched by the studio that fans can visit to keep tabs on new developments with the long-awaited big screen debut of the X-Men.
