Didn't get a chance to collect'em all last time? Want a chance to win a complete set? Well, get ready, because Pokemon is coming back to Burger King! Beginning March 13, 2000, Pokemon fans have another chance to catch all 57 Pokemon toys or the 20 trading card sheets at more than 8,000 Burger King restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. Burger King and Nintendo of America are giving steadfast Poke fans another chance to satisfy their craving for cool Pokemon characters and delicious Burger King food. The promotion is scheduled to run through March 26, 2000 at participating restaurants, or while supplies last. To make this promotion an even bigger blockbuster, Burger King will be including a coupon for $2 off the Pokemon: The First Movie on VHS and DVD from Warner Home Video in every Burger King Kids Meal and Big Kids Meal. Customers can also enter a Pokemon giveaway to win a complete set of all 57 toys, without the Poke balls, and a copy of Pokemon: The First Movie on VHS and DVD from Warner Home Video, with no purchase necessary, at participating restaurants. Two winners from each participating restaurant will be randomly selected at the end of the promotion. Only Burger King restaurants in the domestic United States will be participating in the Pokemon giveaway. ``This Pokemon promotion follows on the heels of one of the most popular programs ever executed at our restaurants. We're thrilled to make this incredibly popular property accessible to our customers again, beginning on March 13th,'' said Richard Taylor, vice president, Marketing for Burger King Corporation. ``Burger King knows how many of our customers are Pokemon fans and we wanted to give them another chance to complete their collections while enjoying our great-tasting food.'' The two-week promotion will feature all 57 original Pokemon premiums from the Holiday Pokemon( promotion, without the plastic Poke balls. Each toy will be available in an opaque polybag also containing an insert featuring a valuable coupon for $2 off the purchase of Pokemon: The First Movie on VHS and DVD from Warner Home Video. As in the Holiday promotion, the 57 toys feature seven different design functionalities, including squirters, bean bags, keychains, launchers, light-ups, talking plush toys and rev-tops. Special talking plush Pikachu designs will also be available. The promotion will be supported with both adult and kid-targeted advertising using a Big Kids meal message. To help kids ``collect em all,'' participating Burger King restaurants around the country have the option to once again offer ``Trading Nights'' for the duration of the promotion, allowing consumers to trade their Pokemon collectibles. While children are expected to be accompanied by an adult at the trading nights, no purchase is necessary. The trading nights, however, will be a local option and not nationally advertised. Burger King Corporation's website, has continued to feature the popular and interactive PokeDex where kids can track their progress in collecting all the toys and check out some cool Pokemon toys, games, screen savers and more. Burger King makes it easy to keep up with those clever Pokemon characters and catch'em all. [Updated 3/10/2000]
