DC logo

May 27, 2003 - Visitors to the DC Comics booth at Wizard World East in Philadelphia from May 30 to June 1 may pick up two free, 8-page full-color previews of upcoming projects: one for JLA: LIBERTY AND JUSTICE and the other for VERTIGO's THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS.

The JLA: LIBERTY & JUSTICE giveaway features story and art by the Eisner-Award winning team of writer Paul Dini and artist Alex Ross and an exclusive Wizard World East cover showcasing THE FLASH. (Please note that this preview will be available at other conventions this summer with variant covers.) With six story pages, the preview includes appearances by Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter.

THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS PREVIEW includes story pages written by New York Times bestselling author Neil Gaiman, with art by Milo Manara, P. Craig Russell, Barron Storey, Frank Quitely, Glenn Fabry, and Miguelanxo Prado, and a cover by Dave McKean.

"The buzz for both these projects couldn't be stronger," says Matt Keller, DC's Manager - Marketing Services. "Anyone who's coming to the convention is going to want to pick them up - and with Alex Ross as a guest of honor, there's even a chance of getting his autograph on the JLA: LIBERTY & JUSTICE preview."

Visitors to the DC booth may also pick up giveaways including promotional posters, signing cards, buttons, copies of HORIZON, and other items.

These previews also will be distributed to comic book stores at a later date.
