Jeff Luttrell's Razor: Official Launch Party at AZ KB Toys This Sat.
|
ReSaurus' latest release to hit store shelves is Razor, the heroic bird-man creation of Jeff Luttrell. Razor was a joint venture between ReSaurus and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.Jeff, diagnosed with Luekemia, had a wish to create his own action figure. Make-A-Wish was put in touch with ReSaurus and the rest is one of the coolest stories in the history of the action figure industry. You can click here to read the whole story. While the first Razor figure was created expressly for Jeff, overwhelming reaction to the story and to the figure itself have caused ReSaurus, Make-A-Wish to partner with KB Toys and make Razor available at retail, exclusively at KB Toys stores. $5.00 from each sale of Razor will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The figure is just now starting to appear in KB stores. To celebrate the launch of the figure there will be an event held on Saturday, May 6th at the KB Toys location at the Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, Arizona. The event lasts from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Jeff will be there, along with his family and representatives of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Jeff will be signing figures for the duration of the event. If you are at all able, be sure to stop by the Arizona Mills Mall KB Toys on Saturday, May 6th between 1 and 3pm for the official release of Jeff Luttrell's Razor, and be able to meet Jeff and give him your best wishes. UPDATED 5/03/2000: RTM has just been informed by KB Toys corporate office that Razor will be available on KBKids.com. It may show up on the site as early as Saturday, but will be there by Monday.
