The Florida Extravaganza (FX for short) now in its 16th year, is a central Florida staple. One of the largest collectible events in the world, FX attracts attendees from every corner of the globe. 2005 marks the return of one of the original promotors: Michael Herz. Herz brings with him the enthusiasm and spark that made FX the most exciting event of its kind in the southeast USA. "This year's show will be much more than any FX before it. There is literally something for everyone going on somewhere the entire weekend!"

The show has more Toy, Comic & collectible dealers than any other show in the southeast with 1,000+ tables. This is up from less than 300 tables last year. Attendees can shop millions of dollars worth of vintage and modern toys, comics and collectibles. Attendees are encouraged to bring their old toys & comics for appraisal or to sell to one of our many quality dealers.

The guest list is just phenominal. We put a great deal of effort in choosing a line-up that would appeal to all ages and genres of fans. The guest list includes Movie and TV stars from Adventure, Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy and more spanning 6 decades: 1950's to present. These stars will all be meeting the public & signing autographs. FX has a great gaming line-up for the event. Unity entertainment will be presenting the gaming at FX. Tournaments will be held for Yu-Gi-Oh, VS Systems, Heroclix, Magic the Gathering and many others. Check the website fxshow.com for the details.

Also added this year to the FX line-up is Anime! Jaco will be providing Round-the-clock movie showings, the 1st Annual FX Costume Contest, & more.

Artists, writers and creators will be on hand at FX to meet their fans. Comic art legend Jim Steranko will be presenting a display of his sought after paintings. Dozens of other comic creators as well as authors, sculptors and more will be at the event. Many local artists will be in attendance.

A charity auction will be held at the event this year: Heroes Helping Heroes Healing is a group of Florida Comic Artists, (led by Austin Janowsky), commited to making a difference in the lives of Hurricane victims in our state. Dozens of original art pieces will be auctioned Saturday afternoon, 100% of the proceeds will benefit Florida Hurricane victims. We still have a lot of work to do here at home and there are a great deal of fellow Floridians still in need of assistance.

The Funny Club Show is a display of "Urban Vinyl Designer toys." FX will mark the Funny Clubs first public display. The display will then travel the world during 2005 exhibiting in Chicago, Taipai and Tokyo to name a few. To honor the inaugural showing local artist Nakanari will be on hand to sign an exclusive figure only available at FX.
