Inspired by the real world event of "Comic Market" held in Tokyo each summer and winter, Sekihiko Inui's popular manga series Comic Party follows the lives and loves of young, would-be manga-ka, specifically Kazuki Sendo, whose passion for painting and drawing propels him into the world of doujinshi (underground comics).

Now Kotobukiya presents PVC Statues of two unforgettable Comic Party characters - Eimi Ohba and Mizuki Takase in Swimsuit. The "normal" classmate Mizuki (offered here in a swimsuit and with a removable display base) and "Miss Too-Much-Caffeine" bad girl Eimi are sculpted by Hironori Tokunaga and Tsukuru Shirahige and stand approximately 7" to 8" tall. Scheduled to ship in November 2005, these statues come in window box packaging and give a glimpse into the real world of an aspiring manga artist.
