bbi Unveils Legend of Dragoon and Soul Reaver Action Figures

bbi, a newly formed division of Blue Box Toys, introduces it's new action figure lines based on the hit video games Legend of Dragoon and Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain. RTM is pleased to bring you a sneak peek of these upcoming figures.

Dart, Lloyd, Shana, Kongol, Lavitz and Rose are fully articulated, 7" collectible reproduction figures based on the characters from the enormously popular epic role-playing video game Legend of Dragoon, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Precision detail and quality make these characters "must haves" for collectors and fans of the Playstation-based game.

Featured in the first assortment are:

  • Dart: The hero of Legend of Dragoon, who is on a quest to avenge the death of his parents and defeat the evil Lloyd. He has a strong sense of justice and detests anything that is unfair and dishonest. He, like all the characters, has the ability to evolve into more powerful beings.
  • Lloyd: A darkly clad and enigmatic figure with a mysterious past. Arch rival of Dart and the true villain of the story, he is the master of the Fireblade weapon. The power of this sword is incomparable. His quest is to defeat the Dragoons.
  • Shana: Dart's childhood friend who has spent her young life waiting for Dart to return home. Shana acquires her Dragoon spirit stone which allows her the use of powerful healing magic and to attack creatures of darkness with devastating results.
  • Kongol: The last of the ancient race of Gigantos, Kongol meets up with Dart's group and eventually joins them. His weapon of choice is an axe and he does some major damage with it.
  • Lavitz: A dedicated and loyal knight devoted to the King and to his kingdom's subjects. Uses support magic to protect his friends.
  • Rose: Second in command, Rose is an experienced Dragoon of mysterious origins. She uses magic to render her enemies powerless.

    bbi_soulreaver_kain.jpg - 15141 BytesAlso coming from bbi is the much-anticipated line of fully-articulated action figures based on the hit video game from Eidos, Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain.

    Kain is one of six vampire lieutenants, under Kain's control, of a god of darkness with plans to conquer the world.

    However, one of those lieutenants, Raziel, evolves into a being with powers beyond those of Kain and develops wings. Kain tears off Raziel's wings and condemns him to the underworld. Determined to regain his power, Raziel sets forth on a mission to confront Kain. Raziel defeats enemies and absorbs their souls along the way in order to gain energy until hi meets his final and toughest enemy - Kain.
