These days, Johnny Damon has a lot of fans rooting for him. Damon is on a seven-game hitting streak heading into the weekend with the division title on the line. Of course, he wasn't always so popular; he found his niche through his signature look and his clutch power-hitting for the Boston Red Sox. Both of these traits qualified him for a McFarlane's Sports Pick. Turns out, not only are we a fan of Johnny Damon, he has a soft spot for us, and his new action figure.

Capullo and McFarlane's Album Artwork Tops the Charts
Disturbed's latest album, Ten Thousand Fists, which features the artwork collaboration of Greg Capullo and Todd McFarlane, debuted in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 List � a major score for the band, and for Todd and Greg as well.

ANIMATION UPDATE
We're ten minutes over in length...
When we started our Spawn: Animation journey, it was decided that we'd go for a running time of approximately 75 minutes. The first step to reaching that goal is in the length of the script, which as it stands now, is 81 pages. Okay, so maybe from the get-go we were pushing the envelope. But the minute-per-page estimate is just that, an estimate, so in all reality we were pretty close to being right on target with length... on paper. The final length of the show is determined after the dialogue is recorded and the storyboards are finished.
