This third assortment, due in stores around September, features new versions of Logan (in civilian clothes, with denim jacket), Sabretooth (snow covered, in furs), Professor X (with plastic wheelchair, perfect for confronting a certain Master of Magnetism), Rogue (in X-Men uniform) and a new version of Toad.

Toy Biz has also provided us a better look at the soon to be released X-Men Mutations series of Famous Covers-style two-packs. As previously reported, each two-pack features an action figure of a character from the blockbuster movie (Wolverine, Toad or Storm) alongside an action their comic book incarnation. These figures are Toys R Us exclusives and will be in stores, and shipping from Toysrus.com in August.

As reported from the San Diego Comic Con the X-Men Mutations line will continue in a series of 6" scale two-packs as well, again featuring a movie-based figure alongside their comic book counterpart. Wolverine, Sabertooth and Toad will each be featured in a set. The comic book based figure in each set will be an all-new, extremely detailed sculpt. The first to be released will be Wolverine in September, with Toad and Sabretooth (not necessarily in that order) following.
