|
Sideshow Toys has released more images of upcoming products based on the classic Universal Monsters. Due to the great demand for more Universal Studios Classic Monsters action figures, Sideshow Toy is pleased to announce their Series IV action figure line. Using photo, film and archive reference, critically acclaimed sculptor, Oluf W. Hartvigson, has once again captured the unique portrait and costume qualities of Henry Hull as The Werewolf of London, Boris Karloff as Son of Frankenstein and the Mole Man, from the 1956 sci-fi thriller, "The Mole People". The figures are sculpted in posed positions to convey and accenetuate the drama of each character. Featuring 12 points of articulation, these figures have some of the most detailed paint applications ever found on a production action figure. Each figure comes with a highly detailed base with movie title, year and the actor's name engraved, as well as accessories themed to the movie. The action figures are fully licensed through Universal Studios Consumer Products, and sanctioned by the Hull and Karloff estates. Series IV figures are set for release in October of 2000, and will be available though mass market distribution specialty toy, collectible and comic shops and via the Sideshow Toy website.
