eToys: Help Gulf Coast Children

DENVER, Nov. 25, 2005 -- eToys, (http://www.eToys.com) the one-stop online shop for children's products, is making it easy for people across the country to send a toy to a child in the hurricane-stricken U.S. Gulf Coast region this holiday season through a special program with Toys for Tots that is being launched today. Through December 6, visitors to the online retailer's web site, http://www.etoys.com, will be able to purchase and donate a toy directly to Gulf Coast children being served by the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Foundation. eToys will provide free shipping and handling for the Toys for Tots donations, and the company will donate additional toys directly to the cause.

"Children are among the most innocent victims of the hurricanes. Many lost their homes and possessions, and are separated from friends and family members. We want to help these children have a reason to smile this holiday season. We urge the public to join us by visiting http://www.eToys.com and clicking on the special Toys for Tots link to donate toys to the Gulf Coast children," said Mike Wagner, eToys Direct CEO.

To make shopping and donating toys to Gulf Coast children as easy as possible, visitors to eToys will be able to choose from a select list of recommended toys for boys and girls ages 3 months to 16 years that range in price from $15 to $35. The selection includes dolls, games, plush animals, action figures, toy cars and trucks and other popular items.

The donated toys will be delivered for free by eToys to the Toys for Tots distribution center in Gulfport, MS, by December 16.

Additional information on the program is available at http://www.etoys.com.
