San Diego, August 1, 2006, - LOST Fans were given their first look at the prototypes for Tempe-based McFarlane Toys' first line of action figures based on ABC's hit televisions series, Lost. On display at the McFarlane booth were all six figures from Series 1 (Jack, Kate, Locke, Hurley, Charlie and Shannon), as well as the boxed set of the mysterious "hatch."

Cast members Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), along with several members of the show's creative team -- executive producers Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse and Bryan Burk joined toymaker Todd McFarlane for the unveiling.
The Hurley action figure will include a lottery ticket and voice chip technology will bring the figure to life with four favorite TV show quotes; "Dude... I'm starving... I'm nowhere near that hungry.", "You got some... Arzt... on you.", "Stop! Wait! The numbers are bad!" and "Welcome, to the first... and hopefully last... Island Open."
Each 6-inch Lost action figure will come complete with a detailed base and photographic backdrop, capturing an episode-specific moment in the character's story. In addition, each package will include a detailed prop reproduction, central to the character's story, enabling fans to "own" a piece of the show's mythology.
Release date: Late Fall 2006, MSR $19.99. Product will be available at most North American mass-market and specialty retailers
