This program is being developed in collaboration with Osprey Publishing, the world's leading publisher of illustrated military history. Experts in their field, Osprey's long been respected by hobbyists and students of history worldwide, and are well known for the accuracy and quality of the illustrations in their books.
These fully articulated and authentically accessorized action figures will be accompanied by collectible, hardcover mini-books authored by Osprey, and a 'Warrior's Way' code that gives collectors access to an informative and entertaining AGES OF ACTION website where they can learn more about their warriors, download exclusive premiums, and look back into the past at colorful cultures of long ago.
Series 1 will debut at mass market retailers in late summer of 2008, and will offer 6 warriors/6 mini-books. We hope that these perennial warrior favorites from the ancient world will prove as successful with collectors as our new 1:18 military action figure & vehicle program, BRAVO TEAM, available now at Target.
