- Multi Toys released the Wizard of Oz action figures in 1989 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the movie
- Multi Toys also released storybook playsets, each of which included one 3 3/4-inch figure, a non-articulated Munchkin, and other minor accessories, such as fences
- The six figures were all collected and sold together as the Poseable Collection
- Two versions of all of the figures were released - the differences are only in the paint
- These different versions may be due to foriegn release (see Poseable Collection), or another company may have bought the molds and reissued the figures with their own paint scheme
- All six figures exhibit solid construction (no rubber band)
