Mark Scarlotti first clashed with Iron Man as an enforcer for the
criminal Maggia under the name Whiplash, wielding specially designed
whips that could shatter even Iron Man's armor. Since then, Tony's upgraded
- but so has Whiplash, whether working for himself or such crime figures
as Justin Hammer. He was most recently seen hiring himself out under
the name Blacklash.
Hey, fella, what's with the green ponytail? This figure is what
it is. The head was later popular for all manner of repaints, such
as the Toyfare Guardian and Captain Britain. He has a lever on his
back that allows him to perform his very lame 'whip cracking feature'.
