A former Chinese government official, the Mandarin is one of Iron
Man's oldest and deadliest foes. A crashed alien space ship has given
him knowledge far in advance of Earth's, which he uses in the form of
power rings that found in the ship. Now he will not stop until his dream
of forcing the world into a new feudal system is fulfilled.
Once again, articulation was sacrificed for a mechanism, in this
case the Mandarin's light-up hands. At least the effect is nice enough,
and the Mandarin's hands are cast in a light green translucent plastic.
He comes with a goofy helmet and a cape that is incredibly hard to keep
attached to his back. Push a button on his back, and the hands light
up. 'nuff said.
