Another character who did not make an appearance in the Secret Wars limited series, this figure marks the only time that Electro has been made into a figure. Although There would be a version for the Spiderman line from Toy Biz, this version is still one of the rarest pieces of the entire Secret Wars line.
The costume is appropriate to the character, though the head sculpt leaves something to be desired. Electro's mask is toned down a bit, presumably to avoid having delicate little pieces that could be easily broken off.
As part of the abandoned last series of Secret Wars figures (the other two being Iceman and Constrictor), Electro is a difficult figure to find either loose or carded. The figure was only released in foreign markets and is found on one of two bilingual cards. As an interesting footnote, the bilingual cards only show one panel of the cartoons found on the back of all the Secret Wars figures (American releases showed a full four panel strip). However, the full stats and bio are given for each character in multiple languages.
