Action Feature: Snarl and Swipe Action
Comments: Sculpted to more closely resemble the character's appearance in the comics at the time, this figure was a rapid re-make, being produced only one year after the original figure had been released. Only Magneto and Wolverine (and Cable from the X-Force line) were re-made more quickly.
Sabretooth II's action feature was a precedent as well. The "squeeze legs/open mouth" feature would be employed on several later figures including the Captive Sabretooth figure from the Invasion Series in 1995.
The sculpting and scale of this figure were more in keeping with other recently released figures. Most regard this version as an improvement over the original version, though collector interest remains reasonably high on both figures.
