Six-inch powder keg is a new small-batch production company
specializing in 1:12 scale military figures based on pop-culture heroes and
anti-heroes. The main line of figures presented here are reproductions of the
1980s 3 and ¾ inch G.I. Joe and Cobra figures from Hasbro. Each figure has
been reproduced on a six-inch scale with as many details as possible
reproduced from the original series, while at the same time modernizing or
adjusting some features for our more mature target market. However, aside from
G.I. Joe, other pop-culture figures will be offered, though these will most
likely be based on a mail-in, special edition basis.
So braving technical difficulties such as an over-bright
flash on the company digital camera, the following are prototypes of figures
to be offered in the debut series from Six-inch Powder Keg.

G.I. Joe
|
|
Ripcord: The HALO jumper of
the Joe team is here reproduced in full jump gear with helmet, mask and visor
sculpt. Full jump harness, including a front-harness parachute and oxygen
equipment is included. The figure also comes with a Backpack, M-16 assault
rifle with grenade launcher, combat knife, and pistol.

Flint:
the Joes’ warrant officer and a leader among the ranks, Flint is presented
here in his classic, shotgun-toting self. Figure comes with combat shotgun,
submachine gun with backpack holster, backpack, web-gear, pistol, and
flashlight.

|
Recondo:
Pictured here in more modern Green Beret jungle gear, the Joes’s jungle
trooper is still as tough as ever. Figure comes with assault rifle, silenced
sub-machine gun, combat knife, pistol, binoculars, smoke grenade, frag
grenade, field communications backpack, flashlight, web gear, and a camouflage
blanket (shown rolled up) that takes the place of a gilly suit.

Rock n’ Roll:
Everyone’s favourite surfin’ machine gunner comes well-equipped for the job
and anything in between with two machine-guns and plenty of ammunition. Figure
comes with a mini-gun style machine-gun, an M-60 machine gun, both with
ammunition belts, ammunition belts worn across the chest, backpack, pistol and
combat knife.

Dusty and Footloose:
Two classic stand-alone figures forever immortalized as a funny yet effective
team in the G.I. Joe TV series of the 1980s. These two are offered by
Six-Inch Powder Keg in a “buddy pack” in order to reproduce that feeling of
camaraderie. Dusty comes with assault rifle, pistol with silencer, night
vision monocular, smoke and frag grenades, backpack and web gear. Footloose
come with assault rifle, grenade launcher and three grenades, combat knife,
pistol, binoculars, flashlight, backpack and web gear.

Lowlight:
Perhaps one of the most enigmatic Joes, both because of his night-time
activities as well as his infrequent and soft-spoken presence in the TV
series, Lowlight is presented here with everything needed to take the night
away from Cobra. Figure comes equipped with assault rifle, knife, pistol, UZI
submachine gun in backpack holster, and packpack. May be packaged in tandem
with Cobra Night Viper, though this is still subject to change.

Snake Eyes:
The Joe Ninja/Commando is represented here in his second incarnation and
possibly his most popular. Figure comes with three grenades, pistol, knife,
submachine gun, and sword with scabbard.

Sci-Fi: The weird silent
type, able to stay extremely still in order to make his laser one of the most
effective battlefield weapons. Figure is a slightly modernized (if that’s
possible) version of the original Sci-fi shown in green and silver
body-armour, with Laser Rifle and Tube harness, and laser pulse pistol.

Cobra
|
|
B.A.T.:
this mindless machine of destruction is represented here with its gun arm and
ready to fulfill it’s primary program – destroy everything.
 |

Firefly:
an international, evil, man of mystery, this saboteur is presented here with
all the equipment needed to make things go “boom” in the night. Figure comes
with submachine gun, pistol with silencer, 2 frag grenades and 3 smoke
grenades, gas tank, wire cutters, and limpet mine.

|
Scrap-Iron:
the perfectionist of destruction is shown here with everything he could
possible need to put more than a dent in Joe armour. Figure comes with
submachine gun, pistol, knife, rocket launcher, Stinger missile launcher,
backpack, and two missile launching ground units.

Night-Viper:
in the dark a Viper can strike at anytime. This Night-viper comes with
removable helmet and night-vision monocular, assault rifle, silenced
submachine gun in holster, pistol with removable with silencer, knife,
flashlight and web gear. May come packaged in tandem with Lowlight figure.

Alley Viper:
Speaking of dark alleys, this Cobra is tough with full-out body armour,
shield, assault rifle with grenade launcher, sniper rifle, and submachine gun.

Zartan:
Leader of the Dreadnoks and master of disguise – here he is with his deadly
bow as well as a submachine gun when arrows just aren’t enough.
 |

Destro: Two words – The Man.
The owner of M.A.R.S armaments comes equipped with submachine gun, pistol in
his original uniform. Armoured briefcase comes with submachine gun, magnum
revolver, and phone.

Punisher:
Frank Castle is shown here with two submachine guns, pistol with removable
silencer, assault rifle with shotgun slung underneath and removable vest.

|
SAS CQB:
wearing the famed “ninja” suit of the SAS anti-terrorist team, this figure
comes fully-equipped with submachine gun, pistol with silencer, entry shotgun
with holster, 4 flashbang grenades, rope and rappelling harness, removable
vest.
