McFarlane Toys is working overtime in 2008, tweaking our Sports Picks NHL lineups with special consideration to our Canadian collectors. With hockey being the official religion of Canada (and Todd McFarlane being Canadian), it makes sense to gear our NHL lines to include the best and brightest stars from the six teams "up north." With that in mind, we're proud to announce the addition of Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf to our NHL 20 lineup.

Exclusive John Riggins Repaint Figure Available Only in Canton
From Friday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 3, McFarlane Toys will make its fourth consecutive appearance at the 2008 Pro Football Hall of Fame (HOF) inductions in Canton, Ohio, offering an exclusive figure at the event: a special repaint of Washington Redskins legend John Riggins from NFL Legends 4. The figure will retail for $15.

McFarlane Toys has partnered with the National Hockey League Player's Association (NHLPA) to sponsor the 2007-08 Lester B. Pearson Award Contest on www.nhlpa.com. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite, just like the players do. A random drawing will take place June 12, 2008, to determine the grand prize winner and second- and third-place finishers.
