 Harry Knowles' Aint It Cool News site is reporting that a new television pilot is being developed for the the WB Network featuring the adventures of an 18 year old Bruce Wayne prior to his becoming Batman.The premise, reportedly, is that of Bruce Wayne returning to Gotham City after traveling the world studying and training himself to uphold the vow he made to his parents - a path that would eventually lead to his becoming Batman. Truth or rampant rumor? Hard to say - but the word has been spreading across the Internet like wildfire. With rumors that the next big screen Bat-flick may go back to Batman's Year One period a Bruce Wayne series could serve as a interesting precursor. Time will tell if this pilot becomes a reality. We at RTM are just sad that the perfect actor to portray young Bruce Wayne, David Boreanaz is already occupied with his Angel series. [Updated 12-03-99]
