May 8, 2002 - WizKids has announced a new book for Mage Knight players and collectors: Volume One of their Official Collector's Guide to Mage Knight.

The book has an introduction by Jordan Weisman, one of the co-creators of Mage Knight. It also features two game scenarios and two original Mage Knight short stories.

The real meat of the book, however, is the reference section, with information about every figure/piece from Rebellion, Lancers, and Whirlwind. Each piece is shown in a photograph, with piece statistics, collector numbers, and a playtip. Also included in the book are checklists for each set.

Volume One of the Collector's Guide is due to be released on June 5, 2002, with a suggested retail price of $15.95.
