RENTON, Wash.--June 6, 2002-- Leading game developer Wizards of the Coast, Inc., a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc., today announced the appointments of Chuck Huebner to chief executive officer and Loren Greenwood to chief operating officer.
Additionally, Wizards of the Coast is announcing the retirement of long-time corporate leader and CEO Vince Caluori. The transitions are expected to become finalized by the end of the month.

Huebner most recently served as senior vice-president of business planning and development for Hasbro Games and has been with the company since 2000. Chuck came to Hasbro from the Coca-Cola Company where he held a variety of general management positions based in their Atlanta, Houston and Tokyo operations. Prior to Coca-Cola, Chuck co-founded ERS International, a leader in electronic retail pricing systems. He began his career at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati where he held a variety of sales and brand management positions.
Loren Greenwood, with the company since 1996, has been elevated to executive vice-president and chief operating officer from his post as executive vice-president of Global Sales, Marketing and Organized Play. Greenwood will now be responsible for driving all aspects of the company's operations, which include maintaining the quality and integrity of established Wizards of the Coast brands, such as Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® as well as licensed brands like Star Wars, Pokemon, and Showdown(TM) Sports. Before coming to Wizards of the Coast, Loren spent ten years with Ace Novelty of Seattle where he held various positions within the company, including division vice-president. Ace Novelty creates promotional products and ideas that help promote businesses and organizations.
Vince Caluori began his relationship with Wizards of the Coast as its first outside board member in May 1994. Three years later, in April 1997, Caluori started working at the corporate office full time as an executive vice president. In December 2000, Caluori was named CEO of Wizards of the Coast and was responsible for overseeing the entire company's operations.
