Jinki: Moribito Action Figure
|
June 2002 - From Shirou Tsunashima's cult-hit manga, Jinki, comes an awesome new robot action figure, available through Diamond Comic Distributors.
Jinki follows the story of the main character Aoba, a lonely teenage girl who excels at building plastic model robots. One day, she is kidnapped by her own mother to the jungles of South America, where an organization called "Angel" is preparing a robot named Combat Robot Moribito Number 2 ("the Guardian") to do battle against ancient "jin-ki" ("human machines"). This action figure release is a reproduction of the Guardian, and there is no company more suited than Kaiyodo of Japan to answer the cry of the "anime-niacs," who will want to add this new figure to their collections.
The 6" tall Jinki: Moribito Action Figure was sculpted by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, who also sculpted the Neon Genesis Evangelion EVA Figures and Trigun: Monev the Gale Figure, and is part of Kaiyodo's new "Super Robot Museum" series. The figure is highly detailed and features over 20 points of articulation for a wide variety of action poses! It comes with a myriad of accessories and weapons, including a handgun, rifle, sword, shield, and multiple variant hands. Scheduled to ship in September 2002, this is one figure that no import toy collector or anime fan will want to be without.
