Gung Ho For G.I.Joe will be held in Irvine, California from June 22nd through June 25th. The event is being sponsored by Hasbro and the G.I. Joe Collectors Club.

In addition to the variety of festivities planned for the convention, including seminars on diorama building, customizing,G.I. Joe Collecting and a Hasbro Roundtable Discussion that is sure to be a highlight.

A 2 figure set consisting of a Flying Tigers pilot, Japanese Fighter Pilot and a copy of the classic John Wayne flick, Flying Tigers will be offered exclusively to convention goers.

The Flying Tiger pilot comes complete with his khaki flight uniform with Chinese insignia and a large bloodchit on the back, leather type flying jacket with bloodchit on the back, leather type skull cape, goggles, flight boots, .44 calibre 1911 pistol with shoulder holster, scarf and cap.

The Japanese Fighter Pilot is equipped with summer weight flying uniform, boots, leather type skull cap, goggles, type 14 8mm pistol with shoulder holster, parachute harness, samurai sword with scarbbard and cap.
