July 2002 - Joining the Richard Marcinko Close Quarter Battalion (CQB) figure is Richard Marcinko - again. This time "Demo Dick" is uniformed and accessorized as a Navy SEAL combat swimmer. Just like the CQB figure, this new version of the "Rouge Warrior" comes armed to the teeth with all the gear and weapons that a U.S. Navy SEAL uses in combat. This is the second in a series of three Marcinko figures that bbi will release this year.

Richard "Demo Dick" Marcinko

Dick Marcinko is recognized as one of the nation's most accomplished special operations experts, with over 30 years of experience in intelligence, diplomatic assignments, counter-terrorism, and special operations. After joining the Navy in 1958, he underwent UDT and SEAL training and was assigned to SEAL Team Two in 1966 and appointed commander of this unit in 1974.

Through the years, Marcinko served in a variety of combat roles, and eventually formed the now legendary SEAL Team Six and reputed Red Cell counter-terrorist forces.

Throughout his career this real-life American hero has earned 34 citations and medals, including the Legion of Merit, Silver Star and four Bronze Stars. You can read more about Dick on his website www.dickmarcinko.com.
