Robotech Invasion in Stores Everywhere! Masterpiece Collection Volume Two: Ben Dixon's VF-1A and the Robotech I-Men Hit Stores this Week!

September 4, 2002 - Everyone stand clear! The second volume in Toynami's Robotech Masterpiece Collection has arrived! The VF-1A fully transforms from Battloid to Guardian to Fighter. Constructed from die-cast metal and sturdy plastic, Ben's VF-1A offers a wealth of features and details from top to bottom, from the functional LED light in the Veritech's eye visor to the real rubber tires on the landing gear. The opening cockpit with removable pilot even has a detachable access ladder. The VF-1A is packaged in a book-style collector's box with magnetic clasp and sliding tray, allowing you to remove your Veritech for display or return it to the "book" for storage. Limited to 15,000, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Also just arriving on store shelves are the I-Men, mini-figures done the Toynami way! I-Men mini-figures are fully articulated and feature magnetic feet for increased poseability. Each Robotech I-Men two-pack features the Veritech in Battloid Mode and its pilot. Included in this assortment are Rick Hunter and the VF-1J, Ben Dixon and his VF-1A, Roy Fokker and the Skull Leader VF-1S, Max Sterling and his VF-1J, and Miriya and her VF-1J. Included with every I-Men mini-figure is a collector's coin, specific to that character, which also doubles as a magnetic figure stand.
