Spring 2003 Boyds Dolls

November 6, 2002 - Gettysburg, Pa. - Many Spring memories are set in rainy days: playing in puddles, floating little plastic figures on leaf boats, running in the rain with friends. These are just a few of the Spring images that inspired our new line of dolls for '03.

Check out Aubrey With Waddle... Puddle Jumping from the 14" Little Girls & Boyds™ collection. Aubrey is puddle-jumping in her resin duck boots! She holds a resin sailboat with a canvas sail and her fluffy chenille duck friend, Waddle. Aubrey is laughing as she looks for the deepest puddles. Also new in the Little Girls & Boyds™ collection is Darcie With Blueprint... Building Dreams. Darcie is starting a major construction project with blocks... she cuddles Blueprint while they imagine their dream home. And, then there's Annie With Tapper. Spring brings Memorial Day and then comes the Fourth of July, and Annie is leading the parades with her little resin drum. Tapper is along for a wild ride on one of the drumsticks. All three new dolls sell for around $57.

With Summer comes picnics and parties, watermelon, corn, and cherry pie! Another Americana-themed doll for Spring 2003 is Trista with Sparkles from the 12" My Best Friend™ collection. Check out Trista's playful flag sweater and bear Sparkles' glittery wand of stars! Also new this season is Malinda With Threads... Rainy Day Friends. Malinda and Threads are spending a rainy day stringing paper dolls. Don't forget to check out Alexa With Bon Bon. Alexa came out with our Mother's Day Collection in 2002, but joins the regular line this season. She's the perfect gift for moms! All three new dolls are prices around $39.

Our 16" Yesterdays' Child® for Spring is a classic Alice, from the favorite story "Alice in Wonderland." She is playing croquet with the Queen of Hearts. The mallet, Beaker, is a bear in flamingo disguise. The ball is Pokey, a little plush hedgehog (who doesn't want to be the ball) hiding in Alice's apron pocket. Alice sells for around $69.

And, since our Snuggle-B's™ have been such a big hit, we have three new softies to share, Blossom, Lulubelle, and Dottie, who are all enjoying the Springtime. All three sell for around $15.
