November 2002 - Toronto, ON - Spin Master Ltd. is thrilled to announce that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) will partner with the Toronto based toy-maker to promote the 100th Anniversary of Flight Celebrations that will take place in 2003.
To kick off the celebration, Spin Master will launch a Canada-wide Air Hogs Van Tour beginning on May 23, 2003 and ending on September 1, 2003. The CBC will broadcast live, Monday through Friday during the journey on its Infomatrix Block, allowing children in communities across Canada to take part in the celebration and to be seen on television.
Spin Master and the CBC will launch a national contest to coincide with the Air Hogs Van Tour that will be announced in March 2003. Spin Master and the CBC will also offer prizes and fun activities as the Air Hogs Van Tour visits Air Shows, Festivals and Shopping Malls across Canada. Viewers will also have the chance to log on to www.spinmaster.com and www.cbc.ca to track the van tour's activity.
