GERMANTOWN, Wis., Dec. 16 -- John Lange, sales director of BRIO AB, has announced Tim O'Connor as the new president for BRIO Corporation.
"I am very pleased to announce Tim as the new leader of our U.S. operation," said Lange. "His consumer goods experience combined with strategic planning and change management skills are what we are counting on to help build the BRIO brand," he added.
O'Connor joins BRIO from Hasbro's Tiger Electronics Division where he was the Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. O'Connor has over 17 years experience marketing some of the U.S.' most recognizable licenses and brands including Star Wars, Nabisco, Tropicana and Betty Crocker. He has a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University.
Mr. O'Connor will begin his new role effective January 1, 2003.
