'MCFARLANE'S SPORTS PICKS' SCORES A TOUCHDOWN ON MTV

With all the insanity surrounding this weekend's Super Bowl, you knew McFarlane Toys and spawn.com would be involved. Of course, the spawn.com crew is at the NFL Experience in San Diego (http://spawn.com/news/news3.aspx?id=12093). On top of that, we've joined with MTV's Total Request Live to be a part of the TRL: Super Bowl XXXVII Edition, broadcasting this Saturday from both New York and San Diego.

In related news, ESPN and CBS have a bunch of Sports Picks action figures to include in their weekend football coverage, on or before game day. So, keep your eyes glued to the TV this weekend, as if that's going to be a problem!

We've just learned that ESPN plans to use a Jerry Rice Sports Picks figure in an interview slated to run on NFL Countdown Sunday morning. The show starts at 11 a.m. Eastern, but we don't know when the interview with Jerry will air.

As previously announced, McFarlane Toys will not be attending International Toy Fair in New York this year. This doesn't, however, mean we don't have a big online presence planned for spawn.com.
