April 2003 - The next release in the Marvel Select line is Wolverine from Origin, and is scheduled for release on April 23rd at comic shops and the specialty market. After that will be Black Cat (most likely mid-May), Ultimate Iron Man (planned for early June) and then Ultimate Hulk.

There are some changes to the line-up after Ultimate Hulk. The next two figures were planned to be from the MTV Animated Spider-Man show, but these figures are no longer slated to be part of the Marvel Select line. The next character after Hulk will be announced in several weeks, and is currently planned to be from the Ultimate Marvel Universe. We'll bring you the latest official information as it is revealed, and you should check the official Diamond Select site as they will likely be the first to announce any new products.

There are also plans to extend the Marvel Mini-Mates line beyond the initially announced figures. The line-ups have not been finalized yet, but fans can rest assured that plenty of new figures will be supporting the line including fan favorites.

The various multi-pack line-ups have not been decided yet and where the different packs will be available is also not final. There have been rumors floating around the 'net about certain packs going to certain retail chains, and this information is neither right nor wrong at present. The mass-market distribution for Marvel Mini-Mates is not final, so which packs end up at which retailers are subject to change. When there is official word on the subject from Diamond Select, we'll pass it on.
