He turns slowly, wielding a MK111 rifle - If this were WWII and you were a Japanese soldier, you would know you were facing a formidable opponent intent on stopping you - at any cost.
Sixty years later, this member of the Australian Imperial Force is the newest 1:6 scale action figure in the Elite Force WWII collection from bbi. As many loyal collectors know, bbi's artists immerse themselves in the history, artistry and manufacture of each detail replicated in our figures. In fact, the uniforms, accessories and gear are so pin-point accurate, even the drinking canteen opens and closes with a cork that fits into place with a tight seal, just like the real ones.
About the Australian Imperial Force
The Australian Imperial Force troops left the Suez region and returned to defend their homeland against the Japanese Forces. One of the most famous campaigns was the battle for the Kokoda Trail in the Owen Stanley mountain range located in New Guinea. If Japan made its way across this range; it would attempt to control the Port Moresby, the approach to northern Australia. This would be Japan's second and last attempt as they were no match for the Australians who had become highly skilled in jungle warfare during previous campaigns.
