August 7, 2003 - This summer's most anticipated horror match-up, the beast battle of the new century, the slasher confrontation that has been teased since the conclusion of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday... FREDDY VS. JASON opens on August 15th.

The World Premiere of Freddy vs. Jason is being held on August 9th in Austin, Texas in a mock re-creation of a cursed summer camp (ala: Camp Crystal Lake). On hand at the event will be Robert Englund (Fred Krueger), Ken Kirzinger (Jason Voorhees), director Ronny Yu and Prof. Griffin's Midnight Shadow Show - the premiere television horror hosted theatre in Texas.

Prof. Griffin and his assistants (the maniacal Dan-Dan, and the beautiful, melancoly Usher) will be presenting a tribute to both Freddy and Jason as well as hosting trivia and giving out great prizes by Mezco and Neca.
